As we near the end of the semester projects seem to take up all my spare time. Above I posted my second project for colour theory. The assignment: design two textiles and render an organic object using any medium.
I took the chance to paint a mineral I purchased from the ROM, although painting may not be my preferred medium, I figured I could only get better. Using gouache for the slate and colour-aid paper for the weave and stripes I successfully completed the main part.
Below I posted two shots of the weave in progress and the project as a whole -before putting the final touches on.
