From September to today I have been working on this dress. From a research project, mood board, 24 designs, a quarter scale draft to a full scale draft, muslin and final fabric I can officially say it's ready to be handed in. Granted, it may not be the best piece I have ever sewn and probably has a few more errors than my eyes can see, it went through a long process -the first to be exact.
Although I'm being picky and keep starring at all the things I want to change because I know I did them wrong, I'm not going to. The lesson to be learned is that this is the first time I have EVER drafted and designed, so I will gladly take what I did and smile when I hand it in.
Knowing that I made this makes me that much more confident for the future and for all things to come.
